The Professional Role of the Social Worker in Developing Cultural Values among Children in Educational Institutions

This research aims to highlight the professional role of the social worker in developing cultural values among children, as childhood represents a fundamental stage in shaping personality and forming social and cultural values. The study adopts a descriptive analytical approach through reviewing and analyzing relevant literature and previous studies related to childhood and social work, with a focus on the role of educational institutions in the socialization process. The findings indicate that social workers play a vital role in activating educational and cultural activities, strengthening children’s sense of belonging, and meeting their psychological and social needs, which contributes to instilling positive cultural values and modifying behavior. The study emphasizes the importance of professional and training support for social workers to enhance their effectiveness in educational institutions.
